P-Fleet's customer portal allows you to manage a list of your drivers. You can create a driver card, create a driver PIN or add a driver name to your roster for record-keeping purposes. Start by navigating to the Drivers screen.
Create a New Driver Request
In the top right corner, click Add Driver. A window will be displayed with options for creating drivers. Enter the number of drivers that need to be created. Choose the type and card network:
- Type is Physical Card: Create a single card tied to a driver. Selecting this will redirect you to a card order screen. Click here for a complete guide on creating cards.
- Type is Driver PIN: Create a new driver PIN for use with an existing vehicle card.
- Type is Driver Only (No PIN or Card): Add a new driver name to your roster of drivers. No PIN or card will be created.
Click Submit once you've made your selections. You will then be redirected to a driver page to enter additional information about the driver.
Entering Information for Your New Driver(s)
The fields below will be displayed. Depending on the driver type selected, fields that are not applicable will be disabled:
- Description: Enter the driver name. If the driver name already exists in the system and a new card is being ordered, it will be associated with that driver record.
- PIN: CFN cards require 5-digit PINs that cannot start with zero. PINs also cannot be overly simple (e.g., 11111, 12345).
- Tran. / Day: Number of transactions allowed per day.
- Valid Days: Days when purchases are allowed. If purchases should be allowed every day, select Mon and Sun as the beginning and ending days, respectively.
- Valid Times: Times of day when purchases are allowed. If purchases should be allowed at all times, select All and Day as the beginning and ending times, respectively.
- Department: This field is optional. Customers have the option to assign departments to their cards to track spending. Select the department you want to assign from the drop-down menu. You can create your own departments and manage them through the Manage Departments page in the User Menu.
Once all required fields are completed, click Submit.
